MEET OUR FOUNDER

Kevin Clark was born in Highlands County, and at the young age of 1 his family moved to Indialantic, FL, where his father practiced law for over 40 years. In 1996, he and his family moved back to Highlands County (Lake Placid).

Kevin has deep generational roots in Highlands County, as his grandfather purchased the now family-owned cattle ranch from Theodore Roosevelt’s nephew in 1955. He and his wife, Carlene, of 30 years have been blessed to have raised their twin daughters and son, Alicia, Taylor, and Wesley on the family cattle ranch.

Kevin began his career in financial services in 1994 with a life and annuity agency located in Melbourne, Florida. Shortly after moving to Highlands County, he started his own company, Heartland Financial Group, now Heartland Wealth Solutions. Kevin has been helping people with their retirement and money solutions for the past 27 years. He focuses on life insurance as well as fixed and index annuities. Kevin has become adept at developing a strategy for each client and their retirement needs.

Kevin regularly holds seminars throughout Highlands County, helping to educate others on how to retire with added peace of mind.
If Kevin isn’t in the office, in clients’ homes, or hosting a seminar, you can find him enjoying the beauty and wildlife of the ranch or possibly enjoying a day on the east coast fishing offshore.
